What’s on

What’s on at Old Main

From white tablecloths to winner-stays-on — Old Main is where Crete gathers.

A fire took the original building in 2024. Rebuilding it took 22 months — better woodwork, our own beef, and two floors where there used to be one.

We reopened in May 2026 and the room hasn’t been quiet since. Read the whole story.

The Old Main storefront — green and gold panelled bays, gooseneck lamps, a cast-iron street light in front and the grain elevator rising behind

Downstairs — Fine Dining

Quiet rooms.Custom woodwork.Forty-day steaks.

Date nights and celebrations. Dry-aged Angus we raised ourselves, cocktails built slowly, service that doesn’t rush you.

Pour your own beer by the ounce. Play golf in January. Rack a table. Bring everyone.

The Beef

The Angus on your plate was raised by the family that owns this building. It hangs in our dry-ager — in the dining room, where you can watch it work — until the flavor is where we want it.

Forty-day bone-in ribeye. Sixteen-ounce strip. A T-bone worth the drive from Lincoln.
